The compact PA500 is ideal for today's enterprise mobility applications. With a powerful 520MHz Intel PX270 processor and Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system, the PA500 is ready to mobilize your business.

The PA500, with its ability to withstand multiple 4-foot drops to concrete, offers far greater durability than consumer-grade PDAs. Its small size and lightweight form factor make it the ideal device for shop floor staff, restaurant order entry, retail inventory control, and healthcare applications.

An integrated microphone and headset jack give users the option of VoIP or voice recognition - increasing productivity and safety by allowing users to keep their eyes on the job at hand, not the device in-hand. Data can be captured via the touch screen keyboard or the integrated laser scanner. Additional devices or functionality can easily be added via the SDIO slot, such as a GPRS radio, RFID reader, or camera.

The PA500 comes standard with Bluetooth Class II and 802.11 b/g wireless connectivity options, making it ideal for applications where real-time communication is critical. GPRS users are able to communicate via Bluetooth radio instead of a separate GPRS connection, thereby reducing data transmission costs, and freeing up airtime. The PA500 compact enterprise PDA puts flexible, durable and cost saving computing at the heart of your business and in the hands of your staff.
